Patrick joined Randle & Taylor in March 2023.  He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) from the University of Adelaide.  He was admitted to practice in South Australia in December of 2014.  

Patrick commenced his legal career in the State Attorney General’s Department, working for five years in its Consumer Affairs division.   There he provided legal advice and direction to the Minister and the Commissioner for Consumer Affairs in relation to Australian Consumer Law reform, Building Work laws, Residential Tenancies, Liquor Licensing, Real Estate Agents and Second Hand Car Dealers.   

He has provided numerous hours of practical legal advice to the public on their rights in relation to consumer protection laws and fair trading laws. 

Patrick is a highly effective mediator with extensive dispute resolution experience.  In 2021, Patrick became the head Conciliator for Equal Opportunity SA, the state’s anti-discrimination office.   Patrick successfully chaired many conferences, helping those impacted by discrimination as well as sexual harassment in the workplace.  

As a practitioner in private practice, Patrick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the Public Sector that enables him to build relationships with clients through honesty, careful listening to achieve practical and effective legal outcomes for clients.

Patrick also has a keen interest in Wills and Estates, Insolvency Law, Employment Law and Property Law.   

When he is not working, Patrick enjoys spending time with his fiancée, cycling in the hills and playing the piano in his church choir.
